What a genuine film! Loved it. Good mix of everything that goes on within relationships. I very much enjoyed the dynamics between Britta and Joel. Felt very genuine and left me with a warm feeling inside. I was surprised by the take on the younger couple, but I guess it is just the generational gap. I will say that it would have been better if the ending of each story arc was hi lighted somehow. It takes place during the credits and I almost closed the window. I was surprised to see this was a British production. Pretty unusual for english comedies, but you never know what you are going to get these days.

I saw the film on Skyshowtime last night. I was pleasantly surprised by the story and overall good quality. It feels like a rom-com made for more mature audiences. Different relationships at different ages each with their own set of problems. Overall the film was very good for a European standard. The directing was on point. Acting was very good with a few exceptions here and there. Production value at a very high standard for an European production. Image quality and sound were amazing. I recommend it to anyone, but especially to couples looking for a nice rom-com as it touches on some sensitive topics with a light heart.

I just got back from watching The Perfect Escape with my wife, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this film. This romantic-comedy with a touch of drama was directed by Cristina Jacob, and I have to give her major props for her unique and creative direction. What stood out the most was the use of psychedelics in the storytelling and an interpretation of the psychedelic experience. It's not something you see in a rom-com, and it was seamlessly integrated into the plot. I really appreciate the originality and willingness to take a risk in the genre. As for the actors, I was blown away by their performances. None of them were familiar faces to me, but they all held their own and delivered some really touching and hilarious moments. I think any one of them could make it big in the future, and I can't wait to see where their careers take them. Finally, I have to give a shoutout to the music and sound design in this film. It was perfectly timed and added an extra layer of emotion to the scenes. Overall, I had a great time watching The Perfect Escape. It was a refreshing take on the rom-com genre, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and unique movie-going experience.
